The Control Room and Production Offices occupied 4 surrounding rooms. The 2,900 square foot Palm Suite was created by demolishing 6 room on the 28th floor. The Palms opened on Novemand was designed by Jon Jerde, principal of the Jerde Partnership.
The money was reinvested into the development of The Palms Casino Resort. In 1994, the Maloof Family purchased the Fiesta Casino in Las Vegas for $8 Million, selling it in 2000 for over $185 million. The resort has 703 rooms and suites and contains a 95,000 square foot casino, recording studio and a 2,500 seat concert theater. The Palms Casino Resort is located west of the Las Vegas Strip.
